Easter long weekend opening hours

Centre opening hours and programs will be impacted over the Easter long weekend.

To help plan your visit to Sydney's pools and fitness centres, check out the following information;

• Long weekend opening hours

  Alternate opening hours will be in place over the long weekend. All centres will be closed on Good Friday.

  • Friday 29 March (Good Friday)

    CLOSED

  • Saturday 30 March

    7:00am to 7:00pm

  • Sunday 31 March (Easter Sunday)

    7:00am to 7:00pm*

  • Monday 1 April (Easter Monday)

    7:00am to 7:00pm

  The fitness centres at Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre, Cook + Phillip Park Pool and Victoria Park Pool will close at 4pm on Saturday and Sunday per regular weekend closure time.

  Due to the scheduled Open Day for Trans and Gender Diverse communities on Sunday, Cook + Phillip Park Pool will close to the general public from 3pm.

• Learn to Swim

  The learn to swim program will pause over the long weekend, and lessons will pause on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Regular scheduled lesson times will resume from Tuesday 2 April.

  A 'one week' payment break will be applied to all individual learn to swim enrolments impacted by the long weekend program pause.

  All individual learn to swim participants can enjoy complimentary access for one adult and one child to practice their skills outside of lesson times.
  
  

• Learn to Swim Family Membership

  Family members can continue to enjoy access to all facilities over the long weekend.

  For children enrolled into the learn to swim program on a family membership, the program will break per the dates listed in the ‘Learn to Swim’ section above. The payment break does not apply to family memberships.

• Squads

  Platinum squad sessions are scheduled on Saturday and Easter Monday at Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre. Session information will be sent directly to squad participants.

  All other squad programs will pause over the long weekend, and the regular timetable will resume from Tuesday 2 April.

• Group Fitness

  Group fitness classes will run on a reduced timetable across the long weekend.

  The schedule can be viewed via the online portal.

• Sport competitions

  Organised competitions at Gunyama Park and Cook + Phillip Park Pool will pause over the long weekend, and all scheduled competitions will resume from Tuesday 2 April.

• Creche

  Gunyama Park Creche will close over the long weekend, and regular opening hours will resume from Tuesday 2 April.

  The Creche Club exercise group will pause on Good Friday and Easter Monday, and the regular timetable will resume from Wednesday 3 April.
