New lifeguard uniform launched at City of Sydney aquatic and leisure centres

Next time you visit one of our world-class aquatic centres, you may notice something a little different.

Lifeguards across all 6 aquatic centres play a fundamental role in ensuring the safety of our customers and swimmers within our aquatic facilities. Now they will be wearing the yellow and red uniform that is worn by lifesavers all around the world.

The yellow and red colours are internationally recognised, and will ensure all customers, no matter what language they speak or cultural background, can easily identify our lifeguards and seek counsel or assistance when in need.

Now when our lifeguards pull on their uniform, they are not only representing our centres, but all lifeguards around the world who work tirelessly to keep people safe.
