For the duration of NSW Seniors Festival - 11 March to 24 March 2024 - all City of Sydney pools and fitness centres will welcome people aged 55 and over to swim, exercise and socialise for free!*

What is NSW Senior's Festival?

Delivered annually by the NSW State Government, the festival celebrates the role and contributions of older adults to our local communities and includes hundreds of events across NSW including art classes, fitness and live music - Most are free or low cost to attend.

What's On?

There will also be a range of additional programming and special events for over 55's across the City of Sydney pools and fitness centres during the festival period.

Seniors Rights Information Session

Join us on Thursday 21 March at Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre, where you'll have the invaluable opportunity to delve into essential information about Senior rights, advocacy, and more.

• 11:00am to 1:00pm, we'll be hosting a session dedicated to addressing your questions and concerns regarding Senior rights, including details on advocacy, My Age packages, and any age-related queries you may have.
  
• Additionally, Services NSW will be present from 10:00am to 1:00pm, providing vital information about rebates, the savings finder, and the Seniors Card program.
  

Light refreshments will be available, ensuring an enjoyable and informative session for all attendees.

Join a GOLD fitness class

Our GOLD classes are designed with over 55's in mind. These classes focus on mobility, stability and building strength for older adults.

Our centres will be delivering 100 GOLD classes across the Seniors Festival period.

  • Select "Book a class"
  • Click on the day to find a class
  • Click book
  • After clicking book, you will be prompted to create a profile. Follow the steps, including setting up a password for your account
  • After completing your profile, you will be taken to the page to book your class
  • You will need to accept the terms and conditions and hit the 'book' button
  • You then receive a confirmation email for your class booking
  • See you in class!

  Terms and Conditions: NSW Seniors Festival Offer

  Duration: March 11 to March 24, 2024

  Eligibility:

  This offer is valid for senior residents aged 55 and over.

  Participants must present a valid photo I.D and proof of age at the reception desk in participating centres to validate eligibility.

  Offer Inclusions:

  Free casual access to all pools and fitness centres in the City of Sydney managed by Belgravia Leisure during the specified duration, including aquatic facilities, fitness centres and group fitness.

  Exclusions:

  This offer excludes add-on products, including but not limited to swimming lessons, personal training, exercise physiology, and any other supplementary services.

  The offer is specifically for access to general facilities and activities during the NSW Seniors Festival period.

  Any additional services or products beyond the scope of general facility access will be subject to regular fees and charges.

  Booking and Admission:

  Casual visitation bookings for group fitness classes are only available half an hour prior to the scheduled class time.

  Admission is subject to the availability of space and in compliance with the facility's capacity limits.

  Identification:

  Participants must carry a valid form of identification with proof of age and residency.

  A valid Seniors Card or proof of identity and age must be shown at the reception desk to redeem associated offers.

  Compliance with Facility Rules:

  Participants are expected to adhere to the rules and regulations of each facility.

  Any disruptive behaviour may result in the cancellation of the offer for the individual involved.

  The offer is non-transferable and is valid for the individual senior resident only.

  Guests accompanying seniors will be subject to regular admission fees.

  Facility Timings:

  Participants must adhere to the operating hours of each facility.

  The offer is only valid during the specified dates and times.

  Health and Safety:

  Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to engage in swimming and exercise activities.

  Prior to participating in any activity, a mandatory pre-activity questionnaire must be completed. This questionnaire aims to assess the individual's health and suitability for the chosen activities.

  The pre-activity questionnaire can be completed during the offer registration process.

  Membership Exclusions:

  This offer is not available to existing 360 Pro adult or concession members. Account credit will not be applied to membership accounts.

  360 Swim Only Members:

  360 Swim Only concession members will be able to access fitness products and programs for the duration of the festival period, including access to fitness centres and group fitness classes.

  Access by swim only members are categorised as casual visitation bookings for group fitness classes, and are only available half an hour prior to the scheduled class time.

  Registration:

  To access the offer, senior residents aged 55 and over must complete a registration form during their initial visit to redeem the offer.

  Alternatively, participants have the option to register online prior to their visit.

  The registration form will require basic personal information and confirmation of eligibility.

  Once the registration form is completed, participants will be issued an email confirmation to show at reception each visit during the NSW Seniors Festival.

  Cancellation or Modification:

  The City of Sydney reserves the right to modify or cancel the offer due to unforeseen circumstances or operational requirements.

  General Terms:

  This offer cannot be combined with any other promotions or discounts.

  Belgravia Leisure reserves the right to refuse or revoke the offer at its discretion.
