Winter seasonal closures and upcoming upgrade works

Winter 2022 will see a range of facilities closures, that includes both scheduled, seasonal closures as well as major works taking place across the group.

Access to some pools and other facilities may be impacted during the upcoming Winter season.

Annual Winter closures apply to some pools and facilities, and upcoming scheduled maintenance works may impact access to some facilities temporarily.

The City of Sydney is home to 6 world-class pools, and 360 members enjoy reciprocal access to all available facilities. To find another pool during a closure period, CLICK HERE

Upcoming facility closures
Andrew (Boy) Charlton PoolAndrew (Boy) Charlton Pool’s 2021/22 season will conclude on Saturday April 30, and remain closed from Sunday 1 May and re-open Thursday 1 September.
Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre - Outdoor Leisure PoolThe outdoor leisure pool at Gunyama Park will be closed during the Winter season from Sunday 1 May and re-open Thursday 1 September. The 50m pool remains open.
Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre - Outdoor maintenance works Maintenance works will be taking place around the outdoor leisure pool. The 50m pool will remain open, however, some access points may be restricted during this period. Signage will be present, and our friendly team on-site will help direct patrons.
Prince Alfred Park Pool Prince Alfred Park Pool will undergo major maintenance works this Winter. The centre will close from Monday 20 June and re-open Monday 1 August.
Victoria Park Pool - Splash poolThe splash pool at Victoria Park will be closed during the Winter season from Sunday 1 May and re-open Thursday 1 September.
Victoria Park Pool - Changeroom upgradesChangeroom upgrades will be coming soon. All changerooms at Victoria Park Pool will be undergoing a major refurbishment. Dates of works will be announced soon.
